Come Let Us Build the Church Together
July 25, 2021
Reverend Kevin Ussery
Nehemiah 1:1-11

After a while, when you have nothing and have nothing to look forward to, you become complacent in your life. When you have nothing for so long, nothing becomes something to you. You will settle for nothing, stand for nothing, and are satisfied with nothing. Can you learn to live with what you are going through, or will you give it to Jesus?

    Luke 18:9-14

Timothy tells us how to act in church, while Luke tells us how to come to church. How much preparation do you put into coming to church? How much time do you spend in getting your heart ready? Some people arrive early to get their worship in before the worship service even begins.

    Keep Singing
    July 4, 2021

    Psalm 105:1-11

If the blood has not been applied to your soul, hell will be your home. If you don’t believe what the Bible says then live how you want to, but don’t expect heaven to be your resting place. Serve the Lord with gladness. Come before His presence with singing.

He May Not Come When You Want Him, But He Is Always On Time
    July 26, 2020
    Reverend Kevin Ussery
    John 11:1-26, 44-45

We must all come to the understanding that it doesn't matter how saved you are, how much you worship God, or how much you go to church, because we can all come to church every time the doors are open and still find ourselves in a desperate situation. You can't judge people by their outward appearance. In fact if you are able to look beneath the clothes of that person that is sitting next to you, you come to the understanding that many of us look good on the outside. But in spite of how good we look on the outside, many of us are struggling, desperate, distraught, and disturbed all at the same time.

    Remember
    July 19, 2020
    Minister Daniel Locklear
    Matthew 27:15-46

Do you remember when the question was given to you? “Do you want the world or do you want Jesus?” You have to make a choice.

    The Storm Is Passing Over
    July 12, 2020
    Reverend Kevin Ussery
    Mark 4:35-41

If you know who Jesus is and what Jesus has done in your life, why are you so fearful? As you face whatever storms of life that are confronting you in your life today, just remember, we serve a Savior who can speak to storms.

    Seek
    July 5, 2020
    Minister Daniel Locklear
    Luke 11:9-13

We all seem to seek the joys of life such as money, love, family, or fame. But in order to accomplish those things we must first seek to be more like God through His son Jesus Christ. Which means to be more like Christ and less like the world. When in distress seek God’s love, peace, joy, forgiveness, mercy, humbleness, and meekness. Seek renewal daily.

Who is Willing to Take A Stand?
    July 28, 2019
    Minister Daniel Locklear

We need to start sharing each other's burdens. We need to help each other with the fight, instead of talking about each other. Stop letting your problems determine the outcome of your life. Stop letting fear, anxiety, depression, drugs, alcohol, lust, and all of these things of the world determine who you are.

    You’ve Got Bragging Rights
    July 21, 2019
    Reverend Kevin Ussery

We can talk about everything, but why don't we talk about Jesus. Bragging or boasting is when someone uses their words to point back at themselves to talk about how incredible they are and in a way that brings attention to themselves. We need to ask Jesus to forgive us for talking about ourselves more than we talk about Him. It shouldn't matter what you are going through or what situation you're struggling with, you should turn it around and give God the glory for what he is doing in your life.

    It’s For Your Good

    Reverend Kevin Ussery

Why is it that sin is so hard to overcome? Does God forgive every sin? What really happens when we become Christians? Do we change or don't we? There ought to be some evidence in your life that you have changed. The very best proof of the Christian faith is a believer with a changed life.
