    Genesis 1:1-4

The light from a lighthouse was there to serve as a warning for passing ships that they were getting to close to the rocks. The light today from Jesus is there to warn us when we are straying to far from Him. You better slow down because you are on your way to danger. Imagine this world without the light. Without the light, the darkness would become overwhelming and the world we know it would change.

    Genesis 37:1-11

When you have favorites among your children, it is going to cause some problems. Everybody’s family has some drama, so you shouldn’t compare your family to another. In any family, where there is favoritism, there is dysfunction.

    Luke 15:1-32

The prodigal son knew he was lost. We all follow the story of the prodigal son so closely because he reminds us so much of us. The younger son was prone to heatheness (or pleasure), while the younger son lived to maintain appearances.

    An Unexpected Mother’s Day Gift

    Luke 7:11-17

Every funeral that Jesus attended, He broke it up. Jesus brought 3 people back to life in the New Testament. When we are down low, we encounter Jesus. Sometimes, you have to stop playing and get real with God. When we are up high, some think they are too good for God. You read the Bible, but you don’t know Jesus. It was not until your life was all the way down, that you found Jesus.

    Philippians 1:1-11

Remembering and memory is a wonderful thing. Somethings you wish you could forget, but thank God for memory. All you have to do is talk about Jesus, to help someone who doesn’t know Him. when you share Jesus with strangers, you can bring them into the family of God. There will be some people who get mad when you get saved.
