    Reverend Kevin Ussery
    Nehemiah 1:1-11

After a while, when you have nothing and have nothing to look forward to, you become complacent in your life. When you have nothing for so long, nothing becomes something to you. You will settle for nothing, stand for nothing, and are satisfied with nothing. Can you learn to live with what you are going through, or will you give it to Jesus?

How Christians Ought to Come to Church

    Reverend Kevin Ussery
    Luke 18:9-14

Timothy tells us how to act in church, while Luke tells us how to come to church. How much preparation do you put into coming to church? How much time do you spend in getting your heart ready? Some people arrive early to get their worship in before the worship service even begins.

    Keep Singing
    July 4, 2021
    Minister Daniel Locklear
    Psalm 105:1-11

If the blood has not been applied to your soul, hell will be your home. If you don’t believe what the Bible says then live how you want to, but don’t expect heaven to be your resting place. Serve the Lord with gladness. Come before His presence with singing.

    Deuteronomy 7:1-12

Israel is on the precipice of the promised land. They have wandered 40 years in the wilderness, but God in spite of their faithlessness and stubborn disobedience, is keeping them. Their sandals and clothing did not wear out. When they were hungry, He fed them. When they were thirsty, He gave them water to drink. Instead of giving Israel His wrath, He had mercy on them.

How to be a Successful Father
    June 20, 2021
    Reverend Kevin Ussery
    Genesis 6:1-13

The book of a man's life can not be judged by just reading one chapter. You have to take in the totality of a life to see whether or not that man or woman have truly been successful. No man should be ashamed of their manhood because we are raised in the image and the likeness of our creator.

    Don’t Give Up
    June 13, 2021
    Minister Daniel Locklear
    Mark 10:46-52

Don't stop calling on Jesus. Hebrews 11:1 says, "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Believe if Jesus said it, He will do it. Don't give up on God, because He has never given up on you.

Our Work, Our Walk, Our Witness
    June 6, 2021
    Reverend Kevin Ussery
    Philippians 2:12-18

As Christians, we ought to be doing some work. We ought to be walking the life that God has given us. And we ought to be witnessing to other people. The expectations that we hold over one another are really nothing more than holding people to a particular standard. God has standards that He expects of His people.

    The Light
    May 30, 2021
    Minister Daniel Locklear
    Genesis 1:1-4

The light from a lighthouse was there to serve as a warning for passing ships that they were getting to close to the rocks. The light today from Jesus is there to warn us when we are straying to far from Him. You better slow down because you are on your way to danger. Imagine this world without the light. Without the light, the darkness would become overwhelming and the world we know it would change.

Ain’t No Drama Like Family Drama
    May 23, 2021
    Reverend Kevin Ussery
    Genesis 37:1-11

When you have favorites among your children, it is going to cause some problems. Everybody’s family has some drama, so you shouldn’t compare your family to another. In any family, where there is favoritism, there is dysfunction.
