Leviticus 16:5-22
The idea of a scapegoat is not new in this culture. We are always blaming somebody. We are always putting the blame on somebody else claiming, “the devil made me do it.” A lot of times, preachers preach about the congregation getting right, but in this book of Leviticus, the man of God has to get right too. Then the people can get right. And when they both get right, then God can do some mighty things.
