1 Corinthians 15:12-20
Every now and then life will bring an issue to you that demands you make a decision. Life has a way of putting you in a position where a line in the sand has been drawn. Every now and then you find yourself having to make a decision where there is no gray area, there is no middle ground, there is no both and it is either or, and you have to choose where you stand. Life is filled with difficult decisions that must be made. The one decision that will define and shape your life the most, the biggest decision of your life is where do you stand on the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Apr 5, 2020Faith in the Midst of a StormSeries: (All)April 5, 2020Reverend Kevin UsseryPsalms 37:25The Coronavirus, known medically as COVID-19, has forced the world to embrace a new normal. Everyday life has ground to a halt. Monetary policy alone won’t fix the problem. Political referendums and medical expertise won’t solve the dilemma. Online classes and quarantining the population won’t get the job done. 2 Chronicles 7:13-14 gives us the remedy. “When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people, if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

God is assisting us in our experiences to ensure our outcomes are good. God is working in our situation to ensure that no matter how it looks right now, by the time it is over, it will come out WORTHY for our good.

Mar 15, 2020What Are You Afraid Of?Series: StewardshipMarch 15, 2020Reverend Kevin UsseryPsalms 91:1-16Even though it may seem like the virus is winning, it will not last. Despite our current situation, there is still hope. There are some storm clouds blowing in, but in Christ Jesus we are still able to stand. We are going to go through some stuff, but the stuff is not intended for the Christian. The stuff is intended for those that don’t know Christ. Christians are supposed to be the witness when times are like this, when things are happening in the world and people are afraid, as a Christ child you are to be able to stand and say, “No weapon formed against me shall prosper.”

Mar 8, 2020Are You a Thief in My House?Series: StewardshipMarch 8, 2020Reverend Kevin UsseryMalachi 3:1-12Are you a tither or a thief? The people in Malachi's day were robbing God...how? By withholding their tithes, giving the worst instead of the best, and giving the least instead of the most. Their attitude was, "How little can I give and still keep God happy?" You can't be blessed if you are stealing from the Lord. You can't prosper if you are stealing from God's house, not your house.

Mar 1, 2020Let’s Build Up the Body of ChristSeries: StewardshipMarch 1, 2020Reverend Kevin UsseryEphesians 4:1-16When we talk about stewardship, we are not just talking about your money. We're talking about how we need to be stewards of each other, stewards of the body of Christ, because if we don't take care of each other in here, if we can't love one another in here, if we can't get along with each other in here, then we are going to have a hard time out there in the world. The world doesn't care that you are saved, sanctified, and filled with the Holy Ghost, they will do everything they can to unsave you, unfill you, and unsanctify you, so you better know whose side you are on.

Feb 23, 2020Fill Me Up, LordSeries: (All)February 23, 2020Reverend Kevin Ussery1 Peter 1:13-21God can fill your needs. Some of us get so busy feeding from the neck down, that we forget to feed from the neck up. We forget to feed the word of God into our hearts. We get so caught up in the things of this world that we miss what God has for us. If you don't eat the word of God, food won't last forever, but the word of God will.

Feb 16, 2020Created for GreatnessSeries: (All)February 16, 2020Reverend Kevin Ussery1 Samuel 17:43-51God didn't make you to be average, mediocre, or to be mundane. God did not make you to go along to get along. You are not supposed to walk, talk, or live like everybody else. Do you think that he allowed nails in His son's hands and feet for you to be average? Do you think that He allowed a crown of thorns on the top of His head so that you could be like everybody else? God didn't make you to be average, but He ordained you to be great.

Feb 2, 2020Who Does God Say I Am?Series: (All)February 2, 2020Reverend Kevin M. UsseryMatthew 16:13-18Who does Jesus say I am? Over 2000 years ago when Jesus died on the cross and shed his precious blood, he purchased certain benefits for every child of God. Even though there are benefits for every child of God, that have already been purchased through Jesus' death on the cross, satan will rob you of what already belongs to you.

Jan 26, 2020We Can’t Falter at the AltarSeries: (All)January 26, 2020Reverend Kevin M. Ussery1 Kings 18Sometimes when there is trouble in your life, it isn't because of the devil. We blame the devil for everything by saying the devil made me do it, but sometimes it isn't the devil that made you do it, but it was your flesh that made you do it because it was good. The devil doesn't mess with you when you are his. The devil only shows up when things are going good because most people are not satisfied living around the altar.
