Hold Fast
Series: Prayer
June 14, 2020
Minister Daniel Locklear
Hebrews 4:11-16

There is so much going on in this world. It seems here lately we have been pulled this way and that way, being told the what, when, how, and even where to go. However, the word teaches us to hold fast to our confession, no matter how hard the trials get; no matter the heartache,  for if we hold fast, we will someday enter into his rest.

    The Power of Prayer
    Series: Prayer
    June 7, 2020
    Reverend Kevin Ussery
    Ephesians 6:10-18

Prayer still works. I don’t care what the enemy throws against you, prayer still works. When we get down on our knees and call on the name of Jesus, He is faithful to answer. In the times of storms, you have to open up your mouth and talk to Jesus. You have to call on Heaven to come to Earth and declare what thus saith the Lord.

Holy Spirit Fall Fresh on Me
    May 31, 2020
    Reverend Kevin Ussery
    Acts 10:34-48

Until you get the spirit of God moving in you and activating some things of you, you’re not going to be able to do what God has called you to do. If you try to do it without the spirit, you’re doing it in your own power.

When Over Yonder Looks Better Than Over Here
    May 24, 2020
    Reverend Kevin Ussery
    2 Corinthians 4:16-18

Paul said this ministry that we have, we received it because of God’s mercy. And because of God’s mercy, we faint not. We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed. We are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed. We never give up. No matter how hard it gets, or how lonely we get, or how squeezed we are in our circumstances, we still have hope and we never give up.

    How Deep Is Your Love?
    May 17, 2020
    Minister Daniel Locklear
    Acts 7:54-60

Love suffers long and is kind. Love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, and thinks no evil. Love does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things. Love never fails.

    And Still I Arise
    May 10, 2020
    Reverend Kevin Ussery
    Judges 5:1-11

You must get up. When mama gets up, there is an anointing on her life. God has declared that, “Mama, you must get up and come into your being.” The world, church, and your family does not need you to play small. God has gifted you and anointed you with something and you are going to work and get something done for Jesus.

    He Cares For You
    May 3, 2020
    Reverend Kevin Ussery
    1 Peter 5:5-7

He is always looking out for us. When the enemy meant evil for me, Jesus was looking out for me. When the devil tried to steal my soul, Jesus was still looking out for me. Jesus still sits high and looks low and he comes to see about his people in a time such as this.

    Have Your Eyes Been Opened
    Series: Resurrection
    April 26, 2020
    Reverend Kevin Ussery
    Luke 24:13-32

When you are lonely and can't understand why. When you are broken and it looks like life will never come back together again. When you are crying and can't seem to ebb the flow of tears in your life. God has a way of ministering to our needs. God knows how to minister to us in the deep darkness of our suffering. There may be some stones that the devil erected to block your progress. But, if you trust God, if you put your faith in the living God, He will roll your stones away.

    2 Samuel 22:1-7

David knew how to worship God. There were times in his life that he didn’t have anyone to depend on, BUT GOD. David knew that God was his rock, his shield, his fortress, and God, and God alone, that kept him in the midnight hours. God can keep you in the midnight hour too. The world is a mess right now, but God says, “I am the same yesterday, today, and forever. I change not. I am the Lord thy God.” The Bible says He has never seen the righteous forsaken, nor His seed begging for bread. If you are under the blood, you have protection. God is our deliverer, our shield, and He said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you. I will be with you even until the end.” He’s just that GOOD!

    The Resurrection Really Matters
    Series: Resurrection
    April 12, 2020
    Reverend Kevin Ussery
    1 Corinthians 15:12-20

Every now and then life will bring an issue to you that demands you make a decision. Life has a way of putting you in a position where a line in the sand has been drawn. Every now and then you find yourself having to make a decision where there is no gray area, there is no middle ground, there is no both and it is either or, and you have to choose where you stand. Life is filled with difficult decisions that must be made. The one decision that will define and shape your life the most, the biggest decision of your life is where do you stand on the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
