    John 3:16

Salvation is in this one verse. Your body may die, but the spirit just keeps on living. Most Christians have a particular verse from the Bible that they hold dear to their heart. If you do not have time to read the complete bible, you can put it in a nutshell by going to John 3:16.

    Matthew 26:36-41

What is giving thanksgiving really all about? It is not a matter of what we are thankful for, but how we choose to show our thanks. We are on dangerous ground when we expect our thanksgiving list to match our Christmas list. When we desire our thanksgiving list to be the things that are truly important to us such as food, shelter, and a loving relationship this is certainly what our God expects of us.

    Luke 22:24-30

Every time that God begins to move by His Holy Spirit, the enemy is always around. The enemy can not stand it when God’s people are standing on God’s word and doing what God has called us to do.

    Matthew 18:23-35

If your brother in the church is sinning, if he is living a life that is not pleasing to God, then go to him one-on-one. Don’t spread it around the community. If you are a true Christian then go to your brother or sister privately and deal with it one-on-one. Nobody stands against God and lives the way he/she wants to live against the church.

Wounded in the House of my Friends
    October 3, 2021
    Reverend Kevin Ussery
    Zechariah 13:1-9

Jesus was wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our inequities. Jesus died to give us another chance and to write our name in the Lamb's book of life. If you want to praise God when you get to heaven, then you might want to start praising Him now.

Who Are the Least of These?
    September 26, 2021
    Reverend Kevin Ussery
    Matthew 25:31-46

Jesus will judge every last one of us according on how we treated the least of these. Who are the least and the left, the lost and the forsaken ones? Who are those people that nobody gives any attention to? How dare we enter the sanctuary without giving serious thought to the least of these.

    1 Thessalonians 1:1-10

We can talk about serving all we want to, but are we really serving the Almighty God? How can you serve the living God and not have a conversation with Him? Prayer is an activity that is always practiced; an attitude that is always to be cultivated; and an asset that we ought to always explore.

    Acts 3:1-10

When was the last time that you left church filled with wonder and amazement? What do you expect God to do when you show up to church? What do you come to church for? We have been to Calvary for pardon, but we have not been to Pentecost for power.
