Psalm 1 John 3:1-24

If you are a Christian, you are going to get hell wherever you go. If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal savior, that settles it. If God wrote your name in the book, then it is in the book. The devil can not blot your name out of the God's book.

    Psalm 121:1-8

When God does something for you, then you ought to tell someone about it. When God delivers you from something, you ought to have something good to say about what God has done in your life. Even if it is just singing a song to praise Him.

    Hebrews 10:1-25

Get up on Sunday morning and come to church. Coming to church is not a responsibility, it is a privilege. You are going to have to fight for this thing called salvation.

    Nehemiah 1:1-11

After a while, when you have nothing and have nothing to look forward to, you become complacent in your life. When you have nothing for so long, nothing becomes something to you. You will settle for nothing, stand for nothing, and are satisfied with nothing. Can you learn to live with what you are going through, or will you give it to Jesus?

    Luke 18:9-14

Timothy tells us how to act in church, while Luke tells us how to come to church. How much preparation do you put into coming to church? How much time do you spend in getting your heart ready? Some people arrive early to get their worship in before the worship service even begins.

    Deuteronomy 7:1-12

Israel is on the precipice of the promised land. They have wandered 40 years in the wilderness, but God in spite of their faithlessness and stubborn disobedience, is keeping them. Their sandals and clothing did not wear out. When they were hungry, He fed them. When they were thirsty, He gave them water to drink. Instead of giving Israel His wrath, He had mercy on them.

    Genesis 6:1-13

The book of a man's life can not be judged by just reading one chapter. You have to take in the totality of a life to see whether or not that man or woman have truly been successful. No man should be ashamed of their manhood because we are raised in the image and the likeness of our creator.

    Philippians 2:12-18

As Christians, we ought to be doing some work. We ought to be walking the life that God has given us. And we ought to be witnessing to other people. The expectations that we hold over one another are really nothing more than holding people to a particular standard. God has standards that He expects of His people.

    Genesis 37:1-11

When you have favorites among your children, it is going to cause some problems. Everybody’s family has some drama, so you shouldn’t compare your family to another. In any family, where there is favoritism, there is dysfunction.

    Luke 15:1-32

The prodigal son knew he was lost. We all follow the story of the prodigal son so closely because he reminds us so much of us. The younger son was prone to heatheness (or pleasure), while the younger son lived to maintain appearances.
